These beautiful green tosca antique beads are original handmade from traditional Borneo island locally culture known as "manik"; the indonesian word for beads.
With round nugget shapes and mix colors stripes pattern these beads looks very vintage and ethnic.

Antique Vintage Primitive Ethnic Dayak Necklace Beads From Borneo Over 30 Years Old

This is 6 years old me among local dayak people in borneo island (primitive culture exhibition)
although i am bit afraid at first (they have very long ears and reminds me of wizard) they are very nice and friendly people. Their culture is amazing, the dance, the craft,the jewelry,the music instrument very unique and exotic :)
In borneo island ind0nesia, beads have played a very important role in the culture of the natives. The Kayan, Kenyah ect. (Orang Dayak) believed beads possess spiritual power and are used in healing rituals and weddings, funerals ceremonies. Borneo beads are really unique.It is also the symbol of the wealth and status of the owner. They are handmade and this one is an original borneo necklace which is over than 30 years old.
The beads stone material is like mix of porcelain,glass,nature stone and river stone, its rough and bit rusty. The colors is mix of very ethnic colors like black,yellow,green,red and gold. Its very rare and exotic beads.

Very exotic sea shell pendant. Its made from original shell from bali which combined with glass fiber and resin on it, the result is bright,colorful and very exotic design of pendant which remind us the beach and the sand.
Its very suitable for necklace or key chain pendant for summer design.
The blue color is darker than in the picture, there is already a hole for chain or string on the top.

Today i am gonna introduce you to one of jewelry artist from etsy :) her name is linda and she made many great jewelry with stones. She is very nice fellow etsy and got wonderful blog (which i followed) at http://linorstorecom.blogspot.com
From her profile i knew she likes to bead, using a a combination of gemstones, glass, sterling silver and pewter to make the pieces affordable. She love bold colors and you can see that on her creations. I upload some photos from my favorite things on her shop like this

its very gorgeous and the more you look at it the more you want it, the colors combination is not like general jewelry but it's looks good and for only $ 45 you could get a set of necklace and earrings which match.

i just want to introduce you with one talented jewelry artist on etsy and also my great customer anneliese... she is already joined etsy since 2007 and clearly have quiet many customer base ( you could see it on the sales record).
There is so many great stuff on her shop but i fall in luv with this beautiful ruby necklace...the title is Halle Berry instead of Holly Berry (what a smart idea!) so its just draw my attention and i like the combination color ...red and green..perfect choice for christmas!

Vintage style is never die, its very classic but also classy. Many vintage lover hunting for unique stuff from clothes,shoes,bags and also jewelry. The fact that many celebrity superstar like to wear them prove the existance of this gorgeous style. Example like Angelina Jolie who has nerve to show up on red carpet wearing vintage black dress cost only $ 26 and she admit it to the journalists! (she is so cool!)
With a perfect fashion clothes in this modern era, we don't have to wearing old big victorian clothes (antique) but instead we could wear any fashion designer brand nowadays like this little black dress it could match with the necklace and give a classy victorian touch
. The dress could be cost more than $ 100 but the necklace is only $ 9.5
that's what i call the look for less :)
